How to Create Core Value Hashtags Follow
This article is designed to walk you through the process of creating a new core value #hashtag within your Awardco platform. The hashtags you create can be attached to recognitions as a way of emphasizing your organization's core values and beliefs. The use of your organization's core value hashtags can be tracked through the platform's reporting features.
Step by Step Instructions
Log In to your Account and click on the Admin button.
Once you've navigated to the administrative side of the platform, you will need to click on the Settings tab.
In the Settings column on the left, click on Hashtags.
Here you'll see a list of all the active hashtags you've selected for your organization. To create a new hashtag, then click the Add Hashtag button found on the righthand side of the page.
Next, add Hashtag name, the description, and an optional image. The image will be formatted to 256px X 256 px and rounded into a circle icon. If no image is tied to a Tag, no icon will show in the feed. Be sure to click Save when you are all finished.
If a hashtag is selected in a recognition, it will appear in the recognition on the feed. If there is an image attached to the hashtag, the image will appear in rounded into a circle icon next to the hashtag. In the feed the Tag image will appear on the right side of the banner area. If multiple tags are selected, they will appear in the order in which they were created. Hovering over the icon will display the name of the tag. If a tag was selected that doesn't have an image tied to it, no icon will appear in the banner area but the name of the tag will show in the Tag Text area.
Note: Only the Hashtags you create in the system can be shown in your platform reporting. If you or your employees type in a hashtag that isn't logged in your Awardco platform, it can't be searched or counted.
