Social Recognition Feed Settings Follow
This article will help you to understand how to alter social recognition feed settings.
Enabling the Social Feed
First, Log In as an Admin.
Click the Admin button in the upper-right corner and you'll be taken to your dashboard. Once you're on your dashboard, click on the Settings tab.
You will be taken to the General page under the Settings column. Click on Feed.
Here you can turn Social Recognition On or Off. Your social feed will now reflect these changes for all of your users. NOTE: Be aware that in place of the feed tab on your users' home page, they will see the "My Recognitions" tab in lieu of the "Feed" tab.
Metadata Filter- Selecting a metadata filter will allow users to only see recognitions that share their metadata value.
Metadata Identifier-Selecting a metadata identifier will enable metadata values to appear next to employee being recognized in the feed.
If feed filters are activated, users are able to filter their individual feed using both standard data and metadata. Standard fields include Date, Program, Tags, Users, and Keywords. These can be toggled on individually, all on, or all off.
Metadata Fields pull all the metadata fields available. Only 3 can be selected.
The selected Standard and Metadata fields will show for the user. The user can then start filtering. Multiple choices can be selected in a field and multiple fields can be selected at a time as well. Hit "Reset" next to the applied filters to clear the selections.
Reactions- Enabling this setting to “On” allows employees to react to recognitions with emoticons.
Comments- Enabling this setting to “On” allows employees to leave comments on recognitions.
Enable Delete- Enabling this setting to “On” allows employees to delete recognitions they have given.
Print Template- Selecting edit gives you a view into how the recognition would appear should the employee choose to print it.
