Impersonating a User as a Delegate Follow
This article is designed to teach you how to impersonate another Awardco platform user via the Delegates option when you have been assigned as a delegate.
This option is especially useful for Admins who may need assistance in recognizing or approving recognitions. By assigning a delegate, you are permitting another user to operate under your account profile.
Quick Fix
Log In to your account >
Click on the drop-down arrow next to your name > Click on My Account > Delegates >
To view the user's account, click the Impersonate button next to their name
Step by Step Instructions
In the top-right of the page, click the arrow next to your name, then click My Account.
In the My Account area to the left, click on Delegates.
The Active Delegates section will show you a list of all the users in your organization that you can impersonate. Click on the Impersonate button to the right of their name to begin impersonating them.
You now have access to this user's account. Any nominations or recognitions you execute will come on behalf of the user you are impersonating, not from you. A blue banner at the top of the page that says "IMPERSONATION IN PROGRESS" will act as a constant reminder that your actions are not coming from your own account.
When you have finished impersonating each user, click Return to My Account in the blue reminder bar.
You will be brought back to the Delegates page of your own account.
This option is especially useful for Admins who may need assistance in recognizing or approving recognitions. By assigning a delegate, you are permitting another user to operate under your account profile.
