User Roles Follow
The designation of specific roles in the platform helps to manage the access and the privileges of your users. These designations are configured in your user file. Below you will find a definition of each role and their access privilege.
Employee - this is the most basic level access. This is for users with no one reporting to them and who only need to interact with the platform to recognize other employees or redeem their rewards. This role is automatically assigned to all of your employees.
Group Managers - this role is automatically assigned when someone has employees reporting to them in the user file. Group Managers can interact with the platform on a recognition/redeem level and, based on settings, can also view reporting and view or edit user information within the users tab. Only those in the manager’s downline are included in the users tab and items related to them in reports.
Executive Managers - this role has to be manually assigned in the platform or in the user file. Once this role is assigned, it does not get overridden so it only needs to be sent or changed once. Executive Managers can interact with the platform on a recognition/redeem level and, based on settings, can also view reporting and view or edit user information within the users tab. All employees are included in the reporting and users tab.
Admin - this role has to be manually assigned in the platform or in the user file. Admins have access to everything within the platform including the budgets tab and the settings tab. All employee information is visible to an Admin.
Delegates
- We can enable Admins to be able to impersonate all users.
- For other roles to be able to impersonate, permissions need to be granted. This is done manually within the Delegates tab of the My Account area on each user’s account.
- In the below example, I have manually given Abby and Courtney permission to impersonate myself by typing in their names. I can impersonate Kenneth because he went into this area on his account and typed in my name to give me permission to impersonate him.
