SFTP File Transfer (Automation)

This article details the steps to transfer a user file from your HRIS to Awardco via SFTP.

SFTP is our preferred method of transfer due to it being simple and for the potential of automation. When you transfer your files with SFTP it gives us the best opportunity to ensure smooth delivery and reception of the correct data in the correct format. Identify your contact who manages reports from your HRIS or your IT specialist that helps with secure data transfer and offer them this directive:

Steps to transfer user file using SFTP:

1. Prepare your user file in the correct format.
2. Direct your HRIS/IT contact to request your Client Success Manager for SFTP credentials. (If you do not have a specialist for secure file transfer, our team can help you.)
3. Configure the call of your User file on a regular cadence based on best practice. 

Now that sending your files has been automated, all that is left to do is ensure that all information is updated before your scheduled transfers.
