International recognition programs often have different needs and award offerings from those offered in a company’s home market. The ability to customize the Awardco homepage that your employees see based on country ensures a smoother user experience for your international employees. If you have a customized homepage, you will need to create a template for each country in which your employees work. Otherwise, international employee's account landing pages will show a default welcome screen.
The process for building international homepages, as outlined below, can be a complex one. Please feel free to contact your client success representative or admin@awardco.com with any questions or concerns.
Quick Fix If no template exists:
|
Step by Step Instructions
To begin, sign into your account and navigate to the Admin section by clicking Admin in the top right corner of the page. You will then click the Settings tab and the Branding option on the left side of the page. Scroll down to the bottom where you will select the Edit button just to the right of Welcome Pages.
Once you get to this point, the process differs based on if you are creating your company's first homepage template or if you are simply creating a homepage template for a new country.
First Homepage Template
When creating your first homepage template, you will probably be working closely with your client success representative to ensure all branding changes are correctly implemented. Start by clicking Add Template in the top right corner of the Welcome Pages: Edit screen. Once the template edit page is open, you will be able to choose the appropriate country, the homepage's language, and customize the HTML to match available options. Press Save when your changes have been finalized.
Creating a New Country Homepage Template
If your company has an existing homepage template and you are looking to add a new one for a new country, the process will be slightly different from the one described above. In order to create a new homepage template, click on the existing template. This will open the homepage editing page and will allow you to make changes. To make a new template that copies over the original template's HTML, simply change the country at the top of the edit page. This will not change the original template's country but will create a copy.
If your international reward programs offer different awards from those displayed on your original home market homepage, you will need to work with your client success representative to change the information displayed on the welcome page. As this process requires a certain understanding of HTML, please contact Awardco with questions about these types of changes.
Once your international HTML is set, replicate the above process until all your international employees' countries are represented.
