Amazon International Shopping Follow
Amazon International Shopping (AIS) is a feature that allows you to use Amazon in countries where Amazon does not currently have country-specific sites (like amazon.ca Canada, for example). Through AIS, you can search through millions of items and shop with 100% confidence knowing that Amazon offers hassle-free shipping from the US to your preferred delivery address around the world. With competitive prices on millions of products, daily deals on your favorite brands, top-tier 24/7 customer service, and exceptional delivery tracking, we are confident you will enjoy your international shopping experience.
To redeem your points through the Amazon International Shopping redemption option, log in to your Awardco account, click “Spend Points” on the homepage, and select the option titled “Amazon (or Amazon International Shopping, we’ll need to check that).” You will see only one option: to purchase a U.S.-based Amazon e-gift card. Once you submit your order for an Amazon e-gift card, you will receive an email with the e-gift card activation code and information in the e-mail inbox to which you sent the card.
To use AIS, you must have a personal Amazon account. If you did not have an account prior to redeeming this option, sign up for an account at Amazon.com. Please note that recipients are responsible for any shipping or customs fees not covered by the balance of the gift card. If you have questions about the status of an order placed on your personal account using an Amazon gift card all fulfillment questions should be directed to Amazon.com’s 24/7 Customer Service.
Adjusting Your Location
Once you receive your gift card, go to Amazon.com's International Shopping website. You must shop in the US Amazon site to use AIS. Once on Amazon.com, we recommend first signing into your personal Amazon account. This will allow the site to make recommendations for you based on products that are eligible to ship to your addresses. If you have no addresses connected to your account, you can enter the country in which you live into the site by following the directions in the video below. These directions may also be found on Amazon's AIS site.
Price and Item Eligibility
Once you have entered the country in which you live, search for items that interest you. After clicking on a product in the details section on the right side of the page, next to the item price, you will see the import and shipping fees associated with the item. Click the "Details" drop-down option for a breakdown of charges.
Certain items will not be eligible for shipment to your location. There are several reasons an item may not be available in your country including (but not limited) to the item's weight, electrical makeup (including voltage), or certain legal restrictions governing the international shipment of the item.
