Getting Started: for Managers Follow
This article will help you learn the additional features of the Awardco platform that are available to you as a manager or executive.
Please also see our “Getting Started” guide for standard users.
Access the Admin Panel
If you are designated as a Group Manager or Executive Manager within your organization, you will have access to an Admin panel that will allow you to view reports and other useful information. (The roles of “Group Manager” and “Executive Manager” are determined by your user file. If you have questions about this, please reach out to the Awardco admin at your company or to your Client Success Manager at Awardco).
To access this panel, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your company recognition page, usually "yourcompany.awardco.com"
- Use your credentials to sign in, either sent in email or through SSO
- Click on the “Admin” button in the top right corner, just below your name and account info.
View the Admin Dashboard
The first page you will be brought to on the Admin panel is the Dashboard. This page gives you some quick information about your team (if you are a Group Manager) or about the entire organization (if you are an Executive Manager).
On the left side of the dashboard, you will also see an outline of any budgets that you might have access to or be the designated owner/manager of.
View and Edit Users
One of the tabs available within the Admin panel is the “Users” tab. On this page, you can view the account information and point balances of users within your team or organization.
To view and/or edit a user’s account information, you can simply click on the user’s name and make any desired edits. *However, it is important to note that any changes made to their information here will likely be overwritten the next time your company sends a new version of your user file. Therefore, we generally discourage you from making changes here, and suggest that you make any updates on your HRIS system itself.
You can also archive or restore users on this tab, although we also generally discourage this, as future user file transfers may overwrite any changes you make, and therefore the user file should be treated as the main source of truth for your user database.
View Queues
If your organization is utilizing Awardco’s MemoryBook feature, the “Queues” tab of the Admin panel will allow you to view any pending or completed MemoryBooks for your team or organization.
Here, you will be able to see the upcoming anniversary awards for your direct reports, the number of people who have been invited to submit a comment, the number of people who have submitted a comment, and (when expanded) what was said in the teammate comment. If needed, you have the ability to resend the email invitation should the user lose or delete the original invitation email.
View Reports
The final tab on the Admin panel is the “Reports” tab, which allows you to view reports regarding members of your team or organization.
See our “Platform Reports Overview” article for detailed information and help on utilizing these reports.
Manage Budgets
In rare cases, you may also be able to edit budget settings and balances. If your company has designated you as an “Owner/Manager” of one or more budgets, the “Budgets” tab will also display on the Admin panel. You can learn more about managing budgets here.
