Sending Large Group Recognitions Follow
There may be occasions when you’d like to recognize a large group of people in a recognition program. If enabled in the recognition program settings by your Awardco admin, you’re able to recognize by uploading a .csv file of user IDs to bulk recognize, or by metadata tags. This article will walk you through both of these scenarios.
Upload a Bulk User File
After logging in, select the Recognize button at the top of the screen.
You’ll be brought to a screen that prompts “Who do you want to recognize?” Select the “Recognize a Large Group” option underneath the search bar, and then “Upload a Bulk User File.”
You’ll now be presented with the option to upload a .csv file. The bulk upload feature will accept a .csv file with a single column of user IDs without headers. The maximum number of users you can include is 2000.
If successfully uploaded, you’ll be brought to a screen of eligible programs. From there, you’ll follow the program prompts of the recognition forms.
Create Advanced Grouping
Advanced grouping allows a user to recognize multiple people at once using metadata without having to add them one by one or uploading a file of employee IDs. Select “Create Advanced Grouping” at the beginning of the recognition form to proceed with this option.
Search and select metadata values based on what is allowed. After selecting the metadata, you can click Run Test to see who will be included in the recognition. After running the test, the rule can be edited to add/remove metadata or the selected people can be added to the recognition.
Once the people have been added to the recognition, you can add/remove individual users or continue on with the recognition process.
Only 2,000 people can be added to a recognition. If the metadata selected includes more than 2,000 people, you will receive this message:
