Modifying Group and Executive Manager Access Follow
Designating user roles for employees on your user file establishes your organization’s hierarchy in the Awardco platform. Those designated as Group Managers and Executive Managers have visibility on platform data for their direct reports, but some data might be sensitive and only for Admin view. This article will show you, as an Awardco admin, how to configure what a Group Manager and Executive Manager are able to view and edit regarding employee’s personal information and redemption/recognition data.
Managers Tab
Follow the click path below to access the Managers tab.
- Log In to your account
- Click Admin
- Click Settings
- Click Managers
Executive Manager Settings
The option at the top, Executive Manager Reports, determines if Executive Managers are able to view any reports shown in the “Reports” tab. Toggle this option “On” if you’d like reports to be available to Executive Managers and “Off” if you’d like this option hidden from their view.
The Executive Manager Users option determines if Executive Managers are able to add, archive, or edit employee information on the Users tab. This information includes Employee Id, First Name, Last Name, Email etc. Toggle “Edit” if you’d like Executive Managers to be able to alter employee information, and “View” if you’d like to disable this ability.
Group Manager Settings
The Group Manager Reports toggle allows Group Managers to view all reporting pertaining to employees that are in their direct line. Select “On” if you’d like reporting to be available and “Off” if this option should be disabled.
Redemption data can be sensitive and perhaps Group Managers don’t need to know on which items their employees are spending points. To make all reports such as Redemption Details and Redemption FIFO inaccessible to Group Managers, toggle Group Manager Redemption Reports “Off.”
Similar to Executive Managers, Group Managers have the option to add, archive, or edit employee personal data on the Users tab. If you’d like this option turned off, toggle “Off” for Group Manager Users.
