With the new year in full swing we want to let you know about some of the biggest new features and updates we’ve made to the Awardco platform in our ongoing attempt to offer the best rewards program available to your organization.
We’ve completely overhauled our budgeting system to include features you’ve been asking for. We now offer “floating budgets.” These are budgets that don’t have to be assigned to just one person. Instead, any User in the system can be assigned to any budget.

- New Custom Program Creator
You can now create your own custom Employee Recognition Programs. Name them what you want instead of just using the Recognize function. Ask questions and get feedback from employees. View results of votes, polls, and more.

- Updated Social Feed Options
The Social Feed is now renamable. You can choose what you want to call it to reflect your company’s branding and your existing programs. The functionality remains the same; Users can like and comment on Recognition posts and send a public shout out to their peers. You also have the option to choose between a new recognition form that breaks out Users and Hashtags into separate fields, or to keep the all-in-one box.

- New Gift Card Vendor
We’ve recently switched vendors for our gift cards. We heard the feedback from your employees who were tired of waiting days for eCards and weeks for physical gift cards to arrive. Our new vendor immediately delivers eCards, and sends out physical gift cards faster than our previous vendor. We’ve already seen improvements and a lot less support tickets from employees asking where their gift cards are. Please note this change doesn’t apply to international Visa cards, as our vendor choices there are pretty limited.
- Expanded Knowledge Base
We understand that calling and emailing for support isn’t always an Employee’s (or an Admin’s) first choice to resolve an issue. We’ve been adding all this new information and more in easy to follow support articles at support.awardco.com so that you and your employees can discover answers to your questions at any time.
- Level 2 Support
We understand that the needs of employees and admins are different. We’ve added a Level 2 support team to help Admins directly. Support tickets from system Admins will be distributed to the correct team and handled in a specialized, more efficient manner. Employees can use email@example.com for help with returns and shipping issues, etc., and Admins can use firstname.lastname@example.org for help with adding users or adjusting budgets, etc.
